Content Is King

Some exciting work coming up, all based around ‘Content’.

Being on social media, or having a programme in the mainstream media, is just the start. It’s what you do with it that counts!

First up, I’ll be discussing all the issues around content at the Creative Loop Student Media Festival in Glasgow on Thursday 20th March. What skills and talents will the radio presenters of the future need to have? Will a knowledge of Final Cut Pro be more attractive than the ability to backtime music, or segue from one song to the next? Are commercial radio stations serious about creating content, or are they merely paying lip service to it because they feel they ought to?

And on the 9th of May, I’ll be running our new ‘Content Is King’ workshop with my colleague Gary Ennis. This is aimed at businesses throughout the West of Scotland and aims to help them understand what to say on digital media. Join us to discover how to create videos that gets results, how to make email newsletters sparkle and the words you should never use on your website home page.
