Don’t Mumble

When someone asks what you do or where you work, don’t mumble.

Just because you say *company name* a hundred times a day, doesn’t mean I’m familiar with it.

Take your time. Spell it out. Make it count.

Think about your logo or signage. They’re clear, bold, and definite. (I hope).

Think about the cup from Starbucks or the can of Coke.

Do yourself justice every time you mention your business name.

And the same applies when you visit someone else and write your business name in the Visitor’s Book. Don’t scribble. Use clear block caps so everyone else can see you’re here.

Better still – don’t write your business name.

Write your domain name.

Every little helps.

Keep fighting.
